The Dental Studio can offer to the general public an emergency dental repair service. Most repairs to dentures can be achieved within about 1 hour. This service is available during normal opening hours. That is usually between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
We offer a 1 hour, 4 hour and next day repair service, prices for these services are available on request.
You may be interested to know that most dentures when they break do so for a reason. If the reason is that the denture has been dropped by accident, a simple repair should suffice. If, however, the denture has broken while being worn in the mouth there will almost certainly be an underlying reason which needs to be addressed. This may be that the denture is simply worn out (nothing lasts forever). It may be that the denture has become ill fitting due to the gum receding under the denture or the denture slightly warping out of shape over time. If this is the case then we recommend that the patient visit their dentist to have their dentures checked. This in fact should be done at regular intervals in any case, because the tissues in the mouth can be constantly changing along with the natural changes. Weight loss or gain can also influence the change in dimension of the mouth tissues.
