DIGITAL IS HERE
Increasing digitalisation isn't just a fact of our industry - it's a huge opportunity, one to be embraced wholeheartedly. It provides the solutions to many of the challenges faced by the modern dental practice (and their lab).
5 Simple Steps to Digital Dentistry
1. Intraoral Scanning
3D Scans are taken at the Dental Surgery for accurate digital impressions
2. Digital Transmission
Secure file transfer via GDPR-compliant portal
3. CAD/CAM Production
3D models printed in high definition with Straumann engineering precision, while restorations are milled in-house in our Amann Girrbach Ceramill milling centre
4. Quality Control
Outgoing work is rigorously peer-reviewed - every technician's work is checked by another technician with any issues passed to our Head Technician, Richard Warren.
5. Final Product
Resulting restorations require fewer expensive remakes and chairside alterations and deliver an all round better product to your patient.
As your lab we'll work to support your practice in it's exciting transition from analogue to digital, working alongside your IOS manufacturer, your implant company and your practice staff to make sure that you're getting the most out of your investment and unlock it's full potential.
With our DIGITAL-ONBORADING SERVICE we'll help get you started on the right track. You'll be given advice on what we'll need from you and your scans – How many teeth do you need to scan? How much gum? Is the scan data complete? Are there any voids? Is the margin defined?
We'll take you through the process of GDPR-compliant secure file transfer (via pCloud) and introduce you to our own online customer portal where you can upload clinical photographs and notes directly to your technician's workstation.
